What are your plans to publish in 2012?
We take photos for a reason - to remember!! We also know that if years go by without doing "ANYTHING" with these precious photos - we will more than likely forget what it is we intended on remembering. Don't let that happen in 2012. Create a plan to publish SOMETHING every month! Whether it be a canvas, card or a book, it will get you in the habit of preserving your memories in something more than a jpg file. Holiday Wishes...
A Christmas memory from my childhood was opening mystery presents. You see, my Grandma lived in Michigan so we would drive 14 hours every other year to celebrate with her. My mom would pack all the presents in piles instead of using gift tags to label them. As you can guess, by the time presents were packed, unpacked and put under my Grandma's tree, we were lucky if we opened our own present!
Remember to take some time this holiday season and share some fun stories from your childhood about the holiday your family celebrates. You'll be surprised how you children will listen! That's what Heritage Makers is all about - finding a place for these stories to live.
