New to Address Book

Do you wish you could import contacts into your Heritage Studio address book from another source? Do you wish you could manage your groups? Now in Address Book you don’t have to cramp up your hands by typing in each contact separately. You can easily import vCard or csv files.

Plus, now you can manage groups. If you have a party coming up, you don’t have to select each individual invitation recipient when submitting your order. Just make a party group before and all you have to do is select the group. Your invitations will be shipped directly to everyone in that group.

Don’t worry about understanding the system right away. We will be sending out a helper article all about how to make the best of the new Address Book features.

2009 Family Year Book made easy!

Memories fade - pictures don't
I want to share with you how I've been preserving my families memories this past year. At the end of every month I sit down with my family calendar and open my 12x12 family book in my unfinished projects. I title a page the name of that month, drag up a text box and journal all the things that happened. This often prompts memories of cute things my kids have done and said as well. When I'm finished writing I save & quit - without adding any photos. My thought is - the pictures will always be there, but the memories won't. I've even cut and pasted some excerpts from Joe's preschool teacher's emails updating us on how is doing.

A few months ago when I started to add my photos on my January pages, I read what I had written and was amazed at how much I had forgotten is such little time. I'd like to encourage everyone to take time to think about how you can better preserve you families memories in the new year.

Another reason you gotta love Heritage Makers!

Here's a snipit from an email a customer sent me after trying one of those other "photo book" companies...

I heard about this (a free photo book offer) from a Yahoo Group I belong to and thought, "well, it's free - why not?" So I tried to use their website, was not getting what their help menu told me I'd get, spent 45 minutes in a live chat with someone giving me responses way out in left field. I think I'll stay with Heritage Makers. I appreciate having you, my consultant, giving me personal attention.

So, THANK YOU, Melissa, for everything you've done for me.
