Here's a snipit from an email a customer sent me after trying one of those other "photo book" companies...

I heard about this (a free photo book offer) from a Yahoo Group I belong to and thought, "well, it's free - why not?" So I tried to use their website, was not getting what their help menu told me I'd get, spent 45 minutes in a live chat with someone giving me responses way out in left field. Bring your laptop if you have one, if not please RSVP and we'll supply one for your use on a first come-first serve basis. Bring photos on a CD or printed ones to scan! Our new high speed, high quality scanner can scan up to 30 pictures a minute! Bring a friend and receive a punch in your punch card. Ten punches in a card will earn you a free 5x5 book! Katie, Melissa N. and Melissa T. will be flying to Anaheim Thursday, 9/25 - Sunday 9/28 for Heritage Maker's National Gathering called Reunion!! We will learn all about the New Creative Center that will be available soon! With the new Creative Center, Heritage Maker's customers will have access to an amazing collection of projects. All online! Just click on a book or project that you like, and a copy of it will be sent to your account where you can change it as you wish to make it your own! Scrapbooking has never been so fun or easy!

Doing it Digital...

Welcome to my first blog everyone! This is going to be fun. I thought I would set this up as a way to share new things! Right now I am having workshops (digi-crops) in Lino Lakes once a month. Next date is this week, Wed. July 9th. I will have evenings available mid-month for in-home workshops if it's easier for me to come to you. Then in August the next workshop will be Wed, August 13th. It's great! Bring your own laptop, or if you don't have one we have one you can borrow. We will do a short "how-to" starting at 6:30pm for anyone that would like it, otherwise we're open to anyone coming to working on their books from 6:30pm - 9:00pm. You're welcome to use our templates, eat chocolate, treats, socialize or work one on one with one of us on your project. This really is the way scrapbooking will be moving forward.
